News Release: Celebrate the Birth of the Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo’s New Baby Gorilla with a Bottle of Vino

CALGARY, Alta. Apr. 29, 2022 — Willow Park Wines & Spirits and the Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo have re-joined forces to support wildlife conservation. Each bottle of Calgary Zoo Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc 2020 sold will contribute $2.50 to ongoing conservation efforts. The Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo is part of the Species Survival Plan (SSP) for western lowland gorillas, which aims to establish and maintain a healthy and genetically diverse population in human care as an assurance population for this critically endangered species. And there is no better time to savour the special moments and support wildlife conservation than with the birth of the new baby gorilla and Mother's Day festivities.
